The product will be offered as an add-on subscription, for both cloud-based and on-premise ERP systems.

Price spike caused by bridge collapsebaltimore-key-bridge-collapse-damage

The Port of Baltimore shipping channel can't reopen soon enough for xTuple customer Iron World, manufacturers of residential, commercial, and industrial fencing products. According to Iron World Controller Shade Olageshin, freight costs have quadrupled, since the Key Bridge collapsed in March.

Purchased goods, which typically come in through Baltimore, have been re-routed to Virginia ports, adding distance and delays. In turn, this has impacted Iron World's ability to meet promise dates with their customers. Employee commute times have also been affected. "We've definitely suffered," Olageshin said.

Fortunately, the shipping channel reopened earlier this month.
